PLS Financial Services®, one of the largest organizations in the check cashing industry, wanted to train its employees how to complete federal and state tax forms, so it decided to convert its existing instructor-led training to a self-paced eLearning format.
The project consisted of four large modules of 10 lessons each, quizzes for each lesson, and a final test. The project deadline was three to four weeks. Clarity provided an instructional designer with eLearning experience.
Clarity’s consultant worked closely with the project manager to meet the aggressive deadlines. The consultant used Adobe® Presenter to develop a fun and interactive set of modules that guided employees through the content clearly and dynamically. The project was completed on time, and the project manager was very pleased with the consultant’s expertise and timeliness.

• Get its employees trained on tax form preparation by the April 15 deadline.
• Upgrade the training to an eLearning format for increased accessibility.
