Herb Tieger

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

President and Chief Executive Officer

Herb Tieger oversees all aspects of Clarity Consultants. He is responsible for shaping the company’s growth strategy and brand presence and overseeing its entry into new markets. Herb launched Clarity Consultants in April 1993, and he has positioned the company as a highly regarded resource and national leader in the professional services arena.

“In today’s complex business environment, successful companies must be able to adapt to constantly changing global economies and workforce demographics,” says Herb. “At Clarity, that’s what we do—help companies succeed. Our ability to accommodate the unique business and workforce requirements of our clients and provide them with a talent pipeline of specialized consulting expertise is why we are the preferred partner of corporate leaders in nearly every industry.”

Prior to launching Clarity Consultants, Herb held several leadership positions at CDI Corporation. As the western regional vice president, he oversaw the company’s operations, training, and development.

Herb earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. in Corporate Law from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Milissa Ales-Barnicoat

Senior Vice President & Director of Sales

MAB is Senior Vice President & Director of Sales responsible for prioritizing and enhancing client relationships and developing new innovative, customized solutions.

Milissa leads a team responsible for the design and development of the company’s sales strategy across Clarity Consultant’s expanding client base. Her expertise in building high performance organizations is key in helping clients unleash the potential of their talent and align with their business strategies. Before Clarity Consultants, Milissa served as CSO, SVP, and VP for staffing and professional services firms providing enterprise-wide solutions for Global Top 500 as well as the Fortune 500.

“The innovative services Clarity Consultants provides has made training more efficient and learning more effective” says Milissa. “As the modern workplace evolves, we see an imminent shift in the power, focus and influence of professionals with learning and development responsibilities. Our solutions will enable our clients to close skill gaps, inspire the modern learner, and help them to retain and grow their critical talent.”

Milissa has taken Executive Programs in HR Management, Leading Organizational Change, Leadership and Human Behavior, Management Development for Entrepreneurs at Insead, IMD Business School, UCLA Anderson School of Management, University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Clarity Consultants - Christina Ngo

Christina Ngo

VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Vice President, Finance

Christina Ngo handles all aspects of Clarity Consultants’ financial functions, including controllership, financial planning and analysis, payroll, tax, and audits. She previously served as accounting manager. In that role, she was responsible for implementing the processes and systems needed to support company growth and daily financial operations.

“Clarity Consultants is dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient customer service,” says Christina. “Our integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence across all divisions of the company, along with an Accounting department that is flexible and responsive to the individual needs of our clients and consultants, are the reason we can make that promise.”

Prior to joining Clarity, Christina held several leadership positions at a large Silicon Valley technical staffing provider. She managed payroll for more than 2,000 contract employees, oversaw collections, and processed internal payroll.

Christina received her B.A. in Finance from San Jose State University.

Miles McGinley

Vice President, Director of Growth Strategies

Vice President, Director of Growth Strategies

Miles McGinley oversees strategy project execution and supports all strategic priority areas to help Clarity grow and scale. His responsibilities include target market definition, long-term growth planning, long-term strategic priorities, and annual corporate priorities.

Prior to joining Clarity, Miles worked for Northwestern University’s investment office, covering private equity, venture capital and real estate investments for the university’s $10.5 billion endowment. Before Northwestern, Miles was an analyst in the investment banking division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Miles graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.A. in both economics and mathematical methods in the social sciences. Miles holds an MBA with Honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and is a CFA charterholder.
