Professional Bio

Joanne is a Training Developer with over 20 years of experience designing blended learning solutions, and more than 10 years of experience developing self-paced learning and leader guides/participant materials for instructor-led training. Joanne also has extensive experience designing and developing training programs, including systems training, for corporate clients. By applying her creativity, thorough understanding of the needs of adult learners and focus on real-world goals, Joanne produces programs that engage learners, ensure retention and produce measurable results.

Sampling of Projects
  • For Boston Scientific, Joanne completed video scripts and designs for five 30-40 minute e-learning modules introducing and focusing on an innovative, wireless patient and cardiac device monitoring system. She completed a 15 minute video script and script for a 60 minute web cast describing the launch and clinic support process surrounding the above referenced patient and device monitoring system.
  • For Bank of America, Joanne was responsible for converting and re-purposing an instructor-led training curriculum for mortgage bankers. For this project, she consulted with SMEs and developed detailed storyboards for call scenarios and designs simulating telephone interactions between consumers and mortgage bankers.
  • For American Medical Systems, Joanne consulted with surgeons, preceptors and subject matter experts to develop a Leader Guide and Powerpoint slides to support a launch of two new devices for the surgical repair of anterior and posterior pelvic prolapse.
